What is the difference between the old and the new heat exchang
- The security had been in focus when we developed the new heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are pressure vessels and require the producer to put all effort to reduce risk of damages (hazard). The new heat exchangers have a security barrier, if this breaks then you get no damage. The old heat exchangers don’t have this protection and if any part breaks you get an internal leakage.

Around
the connection outside the security barrier their is a security chamber
with a vent to the atmosphere. If first the security barrier and then the
wall in to the security chamber breaks you got a leakage out to the
atmosphere. Now you have the choice to lock the vent with enclosed screw.
You must be aware of there is no more safety left, we recommend that the
heat exchanger will be replaced. The leakage give you also information from what connection you got
the damage, that helps you to do something about the problem. For this solution we have got a
world
patent.

The
pattern had been changed so it makes the distribution over the surface
perfect. This is special important when the heat exchanger is used as
evaporator. Old heat exchangers need different types of distributors.

The size is 120x525 mm.
The H-plate has highest turbulence. If you allow high-pressure drop this is the most efficient one.
The M-plate has high efficiency but only one third of H-models pressure-drop.
The L-plate is used for system not allowing high pressure-drop.
All plates have leakage protection. Protecting from mixing of media.
The M and L plates has also distribution zones
to avoid maldistribution over the plate
