Ecobraze (TAU Energy Products AB, Sweden) was founded by Lars Persson
(CEO for Tau Power AB) and he was the owner from 1989 to1995. During
that time the following equipment was produced: Four press lines
(M-18, L-M-H-25, L-M-H-55, M-100) two vacuum furnaces, test control
equipment and an automatic insulation line.
From
1995 and forward the following production lines have been produced.
- Production
line for Ciat, France, 1995. Press line (M-25 and M-55) and vacuum
furnace.

for PHE Development Ohio, USA, 1997. Press with a press power of 5000
metric ton and also tools for gasket plates.
- Production
line for Thermokey, Italy, 2001. Press line (M-25, M-55, M-100),
vacuum furnace and test control equipment.
- Production
line for AIA, Sweden, 2001. Press line (M-19, L-M-H-29, L-M-H-59,
M-99), vacuum furnace and test control equipment.
- Our
own Production line in Sweden, 2002. Four press lines
(-29,-59,-109,-259), two vacuum furnaces, test controls and equipment
for insulation.
- Production
line for Nagao Inc., Japan, 2003. Press line (M-19, M-29, Dryer59 and
M-59) and a vacuum furnace.
Tau Power AB
Tau Power is a company which produces braze plate heat exchangers. The
heat exchangers are PED-approved and the company has been certified for ISO
9002.
Primary production equipment is five press-lines; two presses with press
power of 1000 ton, one with press power of 250 ton, one with press power of
3500 ton and one with press power of 4000 ton, two vacuum furnaces with
maximum loads of 2500 kg each. The equipment for testing heat exchangers is
set up to measure both for leakage and for pressure (1.7 of working pressure).
Also, our factory has the equipment to make diffusion free insulation for
heat exchangers.
Tau Power concentrates in production of plate heat exchanger for
OEM-costumers and for distributors. The company puts its entire efforts into
being prepared for future competition, therefore, it has limited both its
organisational infrastructure as well as its technical support. Our
technical support is limited to the provision of our calculation program
only.
Tau Power AB fulfils every OEM customer’s need. Through EP Technology
AB it’s possible to develop new types of heat exchangers especially
regarding their performance and needs. In the future it will be possible for
the customers to take over the production line for the manufacturing of
their own products.
Tau Power’s distributors can be companies with long experience in
selling or using plate heat exchangers. Basic from the distributors
standpoint however, is that they have the knowledge, and with help from the
calculation program, are capable of judging which type of heat exchanger is
best for their customers. As noted previously Tau Power has no capacity for
this type of work.
Tau Power AB also cooperates with other heat exchanger companies and it
seeks new opportunities to engage cooperatively with other heat exchangers
producers who wish to increase their product range.
